Oceana LEADS Ride for RecoveryEvery September, Oceana LEADS encourages community members to break out their bikes and show their support for those in recovery. Participants have the opportunity to support the coalition by donating money to support our Medication Lock Box project. Each Lock box costs $11.99 and are important to preventing underage misuse of substances. The younger someone starts misusing drugs or alcohol, the increased risk for addiction later in life.
Ride for Recovery gets people active, showing support for those in recovery, and preventing or reducing the likelihood that someone may develop a future substance use disorder. Contact us to find out more information about Ride for Recovery. |
